Redback Communications Pty Ltd (Redback) is a private company consisting of a group of Hotkey franchises, based in Melbourne, providing Internet services to clients throughout Australia. The genesis of Redback took place when its members realized that they could provide a greater range and more efficient services to our customers by pooling resources. The Hotkey franchisees that formed Redback have between them over 80 years experience in telecommunications and the Internet. Jim Haralambidis, one of the driving forces behind the formation of Redback, has been involved in the Internet since before it became well known to the public or used for commerce - from the time when it was still an academic research tool.

The Redback business has grown actively over the past few years, and now has clients in most capital cities and many regional areas.
